Colors
General Guidelines
- Only measure the area that will be covered—skip the baseboards, trim, or molding
- Use a tape measure and jot down your numbers
- As a safety margin, add an extra 4 inches (10 cm) to both width and height when placing your order
Measuring Different Wall Types:
Standard Wall
Measure the full width and height at their widest and tallest points. Double-check for accuracy.
Multiple Walls
If your wallpaper extends across multiple adjacent walls, measure the total combined width as one continuous wall - do not treat them like separate walls or orders.
Wall with Doors/Windows
Ignore obstacles—measure the full width and height, as if they were not there. Any cutouts will be made during installation.
Sloped Walls
Measure the space as if it were a full rectangle. The excess will be trimmed off during installation.
Walls Along Stairs
- Height: Measure from the highest ceiling point down to the lowest floor point
- Width: Measure the horizontal length of the stairs (not the diagonal)
- The final measurement should form a rectangle—excess paper is trimmed away. Hang from the highest point downwards to ensure pattern match

Frequently asked questions
How wide are the wallpaper panels?
Our wallpaper is printed on panels 19.3 inches (49 cm) wide, in the height you specify for your wall. Panels are numbered for easy installation, and instructions are included.
On what surfaces can I apply wallpaper?
Our paste the wall papers (Premium and Premium Textured) install well on most walls, as long as the surface is clean, dry and even. Prime very uneven or porous surfaces first. For Peel and Stick, avoid textured walls and high humidity rooms such as bathrooms with showers.
Can I install the wallpaper by myself?
Absolutely. Most customers install by themselves, especially with our popular Peel and Stick paper. Step by step guides are on our How to Guides page, and instructions are included in the package.
Is it hard to remove your wallpaper?
Removing our wallpaper is easy. Just peel from a top corner and pull gently downward. Non woven wallpaper removes cleanly without damaging the wall.
What do you mean by margin of error?
Not all walls are perfectly straight, so we recommend adding 4 inches (10 cm) to both height and width as a margin of error. When hanging the first strip, use a plumb line or spirit level and keep an equal margin at the ceiling and floor.
